台中市政府近年積極推動「台中製造」，全力協助國內外劇組來台中取景拍攝，讓電影成為城市行銷的最佳媒介。
去年上映的《粽邪3：開鬼門》便選擇台中海線地區作為主要拍攝場景，特別在梧棲真武宮、梧棲朝元宮、清水護安宮三家極具在地特色的廟宇大量取景。
隨著農曆七月來臨，一起來場另類的恐怖電影場景朝聖之旅，親自走訪片中的實景地點，感受真實空間與電影虛構世界的奇妙對比。
