還記得上一次駐足觀察身邊的一片葉子、一朵野花是什麼時候嗎？
去年度，旅巷邀請了荒野保護協會、野灣野生動物保育協會，舉辦了兩場關於生態、環境的講座，今年將視野回歸在離我們最近的綠川生態，進而促成與中興大學綠旱興計畫團隊合作，綠旱興計畫團隊合作已經深根在地多年，投入了許多心力推廣照顧著旱溪與綠川的生態。
五月份時小管家參加了綠旱興團隊所舉辦 #視聽無礙的生態共融導覽，對於綠川的生態有了更不一樣的認識，也因為這樣的機會進而認識了過山貓‧小佾老師，老師經常在社群分享精采的植物繪圖，也獲得了許多國際的肯定，只要看過老師的畫作都會忍不住驚嘆，植物的優雅姿態都被老師精準地捕捉下來呢！
今年八月，我們非常榮幸邀請到「過山貓工作室」的生態插畫家 — 過山貓 · 小佾老師，將她筆下一幅幅充滿生命力的臺灣原生植物作品帶進館內展出，凡是入住的旅人，都可以欣賞精彩的畫作唷！
除了靜態展覽，我們更還邀請了小佾老師來到旅巷現場！ 老師將與大家分享她深入山林調查的精彩故事，並親自傳授手繪植物技巧，讓我們學習如何觀察植物生長過程中的細微之處。
活動當天，老師會準備新鮮的植物葉片來到現場。不需任何繪畫基礎，在老師的專業引導下，你將學會如何捕捉植物的輪廓與結構，在實作中一筆一畫描繪出植物最真實的紋理。

When was the last time you paused to truly look at a single leaf or a wild blossom around you?
Last year, Loosha hosted lectures on ecology and the environment with The Society of Wilderness and the WildOne Wildlife Conservation Association. This year, we are bringing our focus back to the Green River ecosystem right at our doorstep, collaborating with Twin Pulses of Green and Dry: United in Water Stewardship” – Two-River Basin Guardian Laboratory team—who have spent years dedicated to nurturing the ecology of the Han Creek and Green River.
In May, our hostel team joined an inclusive eco-tour hosted by the team. It gave us a fresh perspective on the river’s vibrant life and introduced us to Hsiao-Yi (小佾), the talented illustrator behind upliftingcats. Hsiao-Yi regularly shares her botanical drawings online, earning international recognition. Anyone who sees her artwork is instantly captivated by how precisely and gracefully she captures the spirit of each plant!
This August, we are thrilled to welcome Hsiao-Yi to Loosha. She will bring her lively illustrations of native Taiwanese flora into our space. All hostel guests are invited to admire these amazing artworks!
Special Workshop & Lecture
Beyond the gallery display, Hsiao-Yi will be visiting us in person! She will share fascinating stories from her mountain fieldwork and guide us through hands-on botanical drawing techniques, teaching us how to observe the intricate details of plant life.
Hsiao-Yi will provide fresh plant leaves for the session. No previous drawing experience is needed! Under her gentle guidance, you will learn to capture plant structures and sketch their unique natural textures stroke by stroke.
